Terrible customer service.We purchased the Jasper couch in August 2022, we had it delivered in January 2023. On making final payment they overcharged us $400 more than the final invoice previously provided, luckily we picked this up and asked for a refund, I fail to see how the invoice changed from when we made the deposit in Aug to final payment in Jan.Upon delivery the couch was water damaged, missing parts and had a faulty chaise. We rang the store and were told they couldn’t help us and we’d need to lodge a claim online. We did this and it took two weeks to hear anything back. We finally heard from a carpet cleaning company who can come out in four weeks time, yet no update on the faulty chaise and missing parts.We’ve followed up multiple times with King Living and are getting nowhere. I’m hoping this review might actually help us get a resolution.Considering the cost of King Living’s furniture you’d think they’d provide better customer service!! To say we’re disappointed is an understatement.

Do not order the Jasper bed.Delivery: We were delivered our Jasper bed last month (1 month late). We went with the deluxe delivery as recommended by the showroom assistant which cost an extra +$180. The delivery company is separate to King and they weren’t aware of what they were delivering to start with and arrived and hour after the morning 4 hr time slot they had given us with no way to contact them as the number provided didn’t work. Trying to assemble the bed (which ended up being faulty) the installers gouged out our floors trying to get the base aligned with the headboard. The installers also put the gas lift together the wrong way around. The fabric was also marked during the process along with the base fabric having come with a section that was bleached. The lights also came with the wrong attachment so weren’t able to be used. Not the deluxe service we were sold. The installers left us with the bed half assembled in the middle of our bedroom, which is still there a month later as we deal with the King Living customer service.Post Delivery: Received a text message from King saying the delivery wasn’t successful and an option to contact them. I sent through a message and received a lovely message back saying it was all getting sorted as quick as possible… didn’t hear anything more so sent a follow up message… didn’t hear for 3 days and then received a similar messaged from a separate operator that was very polite and said they would follow up.. 3 more days of silence… I ended up calling on my lunch break and nothing had been actioned from the polite emailing service. The operator tried to organise us a cleaning service for the bed (cleaning wasn’t going to un-bleach the bed) managed to get him to understand that the bed didn’t fit together, they still had to organise someone to come out and confirm the bed was faulty. So another week later after rearranging work to be home for the visit, the attendant comes and barely tried to assemble the bed and says he will recommend a full remake. Great some kind of progress. Another week later until King acknowledges they have received the feedback (it took calling everyday to a different operator to get this processed). Re-make also has to be approved by another department so that is another 1-2 weeks plus 3-4month lead time. We asked if we could be refunded and throw the bed out on a verge collection. Advised the refund would be another 1-2 weeks for approval and they would only refund once the faulty bed was picked up. Leaving us with the half assembled bed in the middle of our bedroom while we sleep on the floor for 2 months.In Summary: Call don’t email. You will get a different operator every time you call and have to re-explain what you are trying to follow up (one person was so sure my only issue was the light bracket being wrong it took half an hour to get close to the actual issue). Prepare to rearrange your work if you work Monday-Friday for their visits that are never on time. Don’t expect your issues to be resolved quickly, it’s taken a month for a request to refund to even be sent and I’m expecting another month for the faulty bed to even be picked up to allow for a refund. Probably the worst $4,577 ever spent. Next time we want “luxury” we will go somewhere else.

Not great product. Bought Jasper sofa's and bookshelves etc. Just poor quality. Saggy and flat in parts on seats which are unable to be fluffed up which at least the back cushions can. Veneer chips, peels easily. Spent well over $10,000 and deeply regret buying from King Living.

Would give zero if I could.While visually appealing, the furniture is not fit for purpose. Let along customer service and delivery.Our OUTDOOR lounge setting is rusting despite us moving inside during periods of rain, not only is it useless, it's now staining our courtyard pavers.Not worth the thousands you'll spend.

Dissatisfied with the quality and follow up!It became obvious after 2 months that the quality of the material and comfort of the lounge did not live up to the King furniture claim! We thought spending that amount of money is justified by the quality but after 2 months the sofa is not the same. The soft material is now coarse. The cushion filling is not firm and hence uncomfortable to sit on for an hour! My partner and I are the only ones that sit on it so there is no reason for the deterioration beside poor workmanship and over inflated claims and prices!Terrible communication and no customer follow up !Very Disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a 3 seater zaza, 6 aspen dining chairs and aspen dining table in November 2022. The customised ones were delivered Feb 23 without the dining table which is (apparently) always in stock. We were not notified that it’s an incomplete delivery until the delivery crews arrived. Called the WA despatch team and was told the table was left in Sydney warehouse. No calls, no advise when the table will be delivered. Been a week now, non response to emails, no after sales calls. Totally unhappy. Not fair to receive this kind of service for the amount of money spent for King Living furniture.

LIFETIME DETRACTOR - DO NOT SHOPPosted a review on here about 6 months ago. That was when we were in the middle of our troubles!Ordered an outdoor lounge, table and chairs in Jun’22. Was told delivery would be ~5months, end Nov.Chairs only was delivered. After half a dozen calls to ‘KING support’ in the Phillipines and a visit to the showroom who were NO help (dont deal with support services) we finally found out there was ‘damage’ to our other items. It took an additional 3 months (early Mar) to receive the ‘lounge’ and table, however the lounge gets delivered like this!!!!?Another dozen phone calls, requested refunds, visits to the store (who offered another sofa (5month wait again, with a 2% discount for our ‘trouble’) and ‘KING support’ have finally agreed to refund the lounge.Refund process has taken an additional 2 months as they wont refund their $2000+ sofa without receiving it back…So here we are a FULL YEAR later, still waiting for my money, and still without an outdoor set!Would vote ZERO stars but google won’t play.Don’t buy KING, not worth the effort, and certainly the money you spend!!!

Nice furniture but unreasonable delivery procedure. Allocated a day not of your choice and receive 2 days notice of 3hr time slot. If not available rescheduled via same procedure and receive warning that if not available again will be charged $100 per week storage (after patiently waiting 5 months for delivery).

Although these people have great furniture they have no idea as to customer relations. No only are they demanding in their payment process by bombarding you with texts and emails to ensure that you pay one week before delivery but when you make payment in advance and only part of the order will be delivered they are not sophisticated enough to be able to transfer some of the over payment to another invoice and demand full payment or no delivery. To top that off they do not respond to communication. My wife must have day surgery on the date that they have set for delivery and although we have asked for delivery later in the day they have ignored our communication with the retail outlet and dispatch and sent emails still suggesting delivery early on the delivery day. Not a great company to deal with. Very disappointing. We expected more! Roz Hutchinson Perth
